The LHFC still needs more volunteers, especially some youth! Make sure to pass this information along to friends and family that may be interested!

The Lake Huron Fishing Club

What do WE do?

• operate the two fish hatcheries

• provide stream enhancements and environmental improvements

• assist government agencies on assessments

• initiate projects at schools, and

• hosting the Classic Chantry Salmon Derby.

What can YOU do?

The work of the club relies on thousands of volunteer hours by club members. From time to time the LHFC will be posting current Club activities and programs and asking interested Facebook members to JOIN US, or VOLUNTEER for a number of specific tasks.

My son and I have been helping the last 4 years with the counting,sorting and clipping. I've talked to some people to help out with these and some other duties hopefully.

I would be glad to help out at the hatchery throughout the year, my son as well.
