Two Bits - The difference between $15,000 and $4,000
This year's top 2 Chantry Salmon were weighed in on consecutive days at the same station as shown below.
An amazing difference of only .01 lbs between first and second place and a staggering $9000 difference in prize money!
Darryl Burley, Kincardine weigh station foreman placed a quarter on our official scale and it registered... .01 lbs.
If we take rounding into consideration, that difference could be as little as a well worn dime or as much as 2 quarters.
All figures in C$.
Well done, Brian and Mark!

Bob Hicks of Kincardine with a 24.61 lb Laker weighed in at Kincardine. I worked the last shift today and got a chance to see it. It fit the freezer well enough, but Darryl was hard put to find means of transport to the ceremonies in Tiverton. Finally he decided to wrap it in a tarp and shoot up north. No way it would fit any cooler.
He told me the beast had to be transported from the boat in a tub which bent from the strain.Last edited by Nick Toth; 08-09-2015 at 08:53 PM.

Thanks for the update.
Interesting to see the largest rainbow was almost the same weight as the salmon.
